As Promised...Better late than never, Right?!?!?
Okay, so I know I promised pictures after I got back from my trip but
man I had so many things I had to do...for instance, clean my house
because I had Bunco at my house on Sept 11th (yes, I'm in a Bunco
group, actually I've been with this group for 3 years now...didn't
take any pictures of them this go around but maybe next month or the
next month or the next...okay, so you'll eventually get the
picture...sorry I couldn't resist, I know, very corny line:-) Then,
the next tuesday, I had a spa party...we had a fun and relaxing time
and got pampered; however, it was kind of a bust since only my mom and
Tina came (THANKS A BUNCH LADIES!!!)...oh well, that's why I don't
like doing them but I was helping a friend out. :-) Then I think I've
had something every weekend in September to do....like Goat Days
(which by the time we were going to go that Saturday, the bottom fell
out, so we went to Captain D's and then straight home), Munford
Celebrate, and then this past weekend we went to Covington Heritage
Day with MawMaw and Sunday to her Church Homecoming. Mom M, Jerrel,
Rachel, and Conner came over for dinner Sunday as well (pictures to
come). Okay, so without further ado, here's the pictures (sorry I
didn't share them sooner, please forgive me, I'll try to get
better:-).....
Our new littlest Nephew, Conner Alden Marbry:
Jerrel, Rachel, and Conner:
We went to see them when they got home on that Thursday (Aug. 16th),
so here he is...Home Sweet Home.
Then Carter and I went to visit them on September 13th and this was
the first time Carter 'held' Conner...so sweet!! He loves his new
cousin!!!
Then when I got home at 6am the day Conner was born, I got two hours
of sleep and got up to get Carter ready for his first day of Mother's
Day Out. Actually, my sister wanted to come see him that morning to
bring him breakfast and take some pictures...she was a lifesavor b/c
me with little sleep + little boy not in a good mood = two fussy pants
and nothing going smoothly at all, so she was a VERY BIG HELP...so
thank you Aunt Kathy!!!! Love ya!!! He's growing up so fast!!! After
all was said and done, he did get in a good mood by the time we made
it to school and had a great first day!!!
Check out his cool Ninja Turtles backpack...he was so excited and wore
it proudly!!
Last but not least, here's a couple of pictures from my recent trip to
Cropical Paradise. We thought when we got there it was just going to
be the six of us, but little to our surprise we got to meet two new
people.
Then this next picture, you are probably thinking what???? But we've
all been wondering if the pregnancy test at the Dollar Tree really
work. Well, we had a pregnant lady on our trip and so we all thought
well let's TEST IT!!! And guess what...
Debbie is not pregnant and Candy is pregnant, so they do work and they
are only $1.
We all had a great time!!! I got 23 pages done!!!! And yes I'm going
back for one more trip this year and then that'll be it until next
year. I'm going next weekend with Ruby and my co-workers/friends
(since we may no longer all be working together...long story, but what
it boils down to, I'll probably have no job by the end of the year, so
I'm getting my resume together now and will hopefully start applying
very soon, so keep me in mind if you hear of anything and say some
prayers for me...I'm okay with it and I know God will take care of
me...he ALWAYS does!!!).
