Harris Launches Draft Donnelly Website
Missouri Political News, launched to support Jeff Harris' campaign for
attorney general, posted today that a new blog had been launched to
draft Margaret Donnelly for state treasurer.
What's the chance that a blog known to support Harris just happened to
come across the draft Donnelly blog, is the first to report it, and is
NOT the party responsible for the draft Donnelly blog? Big Muddy
thinks it is unlikely.
Harris' campaign has been flaming out ever since Donnelly and then
Chris Koster announced their campaigns for attorney general. He has
had lacklustered fundraising quarters and most political opinion
leaders see little chance of success for his campaign in the current
field.
Unfortunately for Harris and Koster, Donnelly has announced she won't
be dropping out and the Democratic Party establishment is already
coalescing behind Clint Zweifel's campaign for treasurer.
